Hey Greg, two things:

1) I think you're submitting this pull request to the wrong branch (master). You want to use gh-pages. I see 46 files being changes, which can't be right :)

2) Also, I've tweaked the format for event date/times. Reference the newest version of the post_template.md file.

I was using the Windows client for GitHub, and hadn't updated my fork of the repo between my last post and yesterday. Ugghhh. Probably just need to refork and start fresh.
