Drive Like Jehu - Yank Crime : Wild Post-Hardcore/Noisecore. Formative stuff from the genre. Raw and ripping with a furious sense of driving experimentation throughout. Herein lie many of the roots that gave birth to fruitful progeny over the years.
Adolescents - S/T : West Coast Punk Rock. This is their first album released 40 years ago this year. There are parts of it that still sound very much timeless (one of my favorite tracks, "Kids of the Black Hole" is representative of that sentiment). Other bits are quite dated. Still, a right solid punk rock romp to be had on this big blue album.
