Same here on a fresh install. I can't seem to find whether it's a specific plugin, or what is the actual impact on usability (beyond the melting). Any luck?
EDIT: Just did a fresh install, same problem :-(
@michaelcadilhac, for some reasons I do not see any JSON and high CPU node.exe activity anymore.
What I noticed, that since I opened the issue, my version of Fusion was not updated (2.0.18441). However, I made the wine update in that period. So my actual wine-devel version is 9.4.
Can you try to make the fresh install with the latest wine-devel version?
Well! It worked flawlessly, doing nothing more than upgrading Wine to 9.4 (wine-wow64
from archlinuxcn, to be more precise, since the main Arch Linux package database doesn't have 9.4 yet). I recommend that a warning be uttered in the installer/runner that there is a known bug with Wine 9.3, but otherwise, I'm happy with this bug being closed!
Very odd behavior of
node.exe
process. After January update and the workaround posted here I observe a high CPU load ofnode.exe
process intop
. It constantly changes its PID and also creates a huge amount of JSON files every second inAppData/Roaming/Autodesk/ADPSDK
folder. Thenode.exe
process comes together withCrBrowserMain
process in terms of high CPU load. The laptop melts under useless load, the fan is constantly on.It spams the same error message block over and over in terminal:
