Should this use Proton instead? #25

Given the graphically intensive nature of the application and the number of bugfixes provided by proton, would it make more sense to use that instead of vanilla wine?

yea, lutris has several wine compiles that have lots of graphical stuff added in as well

Proton actually lags behind the latest wine release... so yes and no. If something doesn't work your best bet is probably wine staging, Solidworks uses OpenGL so most of the improvements to Proton probably don't matter.
