SEO Optimization #38

Notes from Meta

One suggestion I mentioned a while back is to strengthen the SEO of cryptex.finance. Right now, the site ranks 23rd for "cryptex" keyword, and 5-10 for "tcap" related terms.

The site already has a lot of good backlinks/domain rating, but the issue is that there's too little content/keywords within the actual site to rank well. The "latest posts" are all just outbound links. Ranking top 5 for 'cryptex' shouldn't be a big challenge, but it could start to be if larger sites (Gemini, CB, CoinTelegraph) start writing about Cryptex and TCAP.

If I were to take this on, I would propose injecting select keywords/backlinks into the existing site, and then start publishing posts on cryptex.finance using better SEO practices - ideally 5-10 articles over the next couple months and we should start to see good progress.

Building things within the site, republishing on the site for key equity on the website. Get to position #1, key wording in the copy and on the blog section. SEO / DIgital Marketing Tactic.

DeFi market cap / total crypto market cap

Google is ranking us 5/6 page, but how to get to page 1 on key terms.

HEADER METADATA - add in hot key terms into this

FInd where she saw our key terms and how we are ranking, see where she saw this to get more words up.

Embedding content into our own website. Yeah we write on medium, but how do you emed it into the site better.

FTX has 6,000 key terms that rank, they are doing a great job with it.

cryptex admins should utilize reddit for seo as well since that is google searchable, unlike much of twitter contentwhich gets indexed differently

I'm not sure whether substack lets you put the content onto a different domain. wordpress doesn't. so like, the cryptex.finance domain exists already - ideally you want a CMS that lets you add content to that domain like cryptex.finance/content or whatever. that way, all the keywords get associated with the same domain. usign substack isn't necessariy a bad thing as long as one of the two places - substack or the .finance domain - have dominance on the cryptex keyword and other keywords you're looking to dominate
