For auto-update, the “Restart Now” button only lasts for a short time after the download is completed and then disappears. A few users mentioned that they did not see the “Restart Now” button to restart the app, and asked if it is possible to improve the UI to make the button last longer or add a pop-up with download status (since it only appears right after download completes).
Wanted to report a bug/feature improvement (All that done on the MacOS):
When the wallet notifies that is downloading new version and then finishes it - shows option to Restart Now. If you don’t press the Restart Now - the window/option is gone - can’t find it nowhere. Maybe you could add a button next to Refresh button like Restart now for update? Since I couldn’t find it I quit the app and opened again - the app opened the same version but were missing icons for some buttons.
Also as soon as open the app it popped up to Restart the app to install the new update. As soon as I restart nothing happened but noticed that another notification appeared that download of new version is in progress. I waited some minutes and then just quit the app. When opening the App again it initialised the install and the App vas updated to newer version.
