Share a brief history of your project and organization

This dataset captures Sunflower's genetic diversity originating from thousands of wild, cultivated, and landrace sunflower individuals distributed across North America. The data consists of raw sequences and associated botanical metadata, aligned sequences (to three different reference genomes), and sets of SNPs computed across several cohorts.

Is this project associated with other projects/ecosystem stakeholders?

No

If answered yes, what are the other projects/ecosystem stakeholders

No response

Describe the data being stored onto Filecoin

This dataset allows the genetic study of the germplasm (i.e. seed) of 2392 Sunflowers (a mix of wild, landrace, and cultivated varieties), from multiple species, collected from diverse ecosystems throughout North America. Plants were grown in a common garden experiment (in greenhouse), and then whole-genome-sequenced over a total of 3523 Illumina HiSeq runs. All the plants involved are associated with curated metadata in NCBI’s Short Read Archive (SRA), where the raw source data is currently available.

Where was the data currently stored in this dataset sourced from

AWS Cloud

If you are a data preparer. What is your location (Country/Region)

Hong Kong

If you are a data preparer, how will the data be prepared? Please include tooling used and technical details?

After I finished downloading the dataset,I use lotus to make the data into car files. Then I transfer these files to SP online and by sending harddisk.

If you are not preparing the data, who will prepare the data? (Provide name and business)

No response

Has this dataset been stored on the Filecoin network before? If so, please explain and make the case why you would like to store this dataset again to the network. Provide details on preparation and/or SP distribution.

Application is waiting for allocator review

joycejo4 commented 5 months ago

Because of the stfil's incident, there are some sps who stop working with us. So we changed other sps to work together.

Please review my application, thank you.

joycejo4 commented 5 months ago

We need more time to do preparation. Please wait for some days.

@joycejo4 ok. If you want to continue, you can DM me via slack.

When I use allocator.tech to sign this application, it says 'Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)'. So I'll try to sign it mannually for test.

cryptoAmandaL commented 2 months ago

@joycejo4 There's some bug in allocator.tech so that I can not allocate datacap. I will close this application. If you need more datacap, please reapply to me.
