We learned the hard way over at Cryptocat to have our shit audited properly

I agree! I already heard comments from people that we should refactor a few things. I hope to write it up somewhere between today and tomorrow.

Agree!

And this is the primary reason why it's not tag "stable". Peer review is critical for this kind of project so any comment is a good comment (well if not done on twitter as a complain :).
