Does OTR currenty support multi party chat based on shared key? If so, I'd be happy to see that info on README how to set it up. Thanks!

Unfortunately, mpOTR is still far away. It requires a totally different key-exchange. If you would like to help out with creating a specification for this, I'd suggest to register at the otr-development list which you can find here: lists.cypherpunks.ca/pipermail/otr-dev/
