The shard.yml has already specified MIT for a while. Since icr is now a community driven project, MIT gives a bit more freedom with using it.
As a side note, I left @greyblake as the copyright holder since he is the original author; however, an alternative could be "Crystal Community" if you'd rather have that. I'm not really sure if that makes a difference or not. Looking around at other projects like rails (has DHH) or ruby (has matz) it seemed to be the most common.
