Thanks, thinking of implementation, but we'll be definetely for version 1.6

J-charles-C commented 2 years ago

Hi,

Have you considered a delay for 1.6? I think a lot of Studio owners are waiting for this version and are hesitant to return their device.

Best regards

I also own a mac studio, it's currently fine with 1100 rpm for me, stay tuned.

J-charles-C commented 2 years ago

Hi,

For the ventilation noise ok but at 1100 rpm, the high-pitched noise is still present.

I met the whine problem on my base model studio. It is quite annoying. Hope the fan could be frozen.

Is there a 0 rpm mode planned for Mac Studio?

kleuter commented 2 years ago

Sure

when will 1.6 be available? I can do a beta test on my mac studio with m1 max.

Small request: can we make the tray display smaller ? I don't think I need to know the exact RPM, down to the last digit. More likely, I want to know in which range it is. So I suggest having 2.5k instead of 2593rpm. And yes, dropping the rpm. There is the fan icon next to it, so it's clear what it indicates, no need to double the information with rpm. Thank you !
