stop bending my spam into your dumb idea to be lost to obscurity and stale moldiness like many before it. the spam is already on the progression issue, and its staying how it is. all prestiging is that u get an extra level but go back to rank 0, and that's it. they aren't "merging". stop trying to get ur skill tree in by making it required for actual ideas.

they aren't supposed to be that hard to get u stoopid. definitely not prestieging 30 times to get a bad perk. also having that many prestiges would break game balance bc items would become trash (they don't scale with level for some reason) and it would become a grindy mess to stay ahead of ur opponent's level :(

I'm not coding prestiging. And I'd rather have perks than skill trees because it is more developed. Having both was supposed to help you all be more creative and come up with more ideas, but you are just criticizing the other side instead.

ik you never wanted it to merge but it is better for perks and stats for it to merge because you don't become op to get them, also there's another reason even is insecure and feels that if his best idea gets "stolen" then he is not helpful and Aaron will value him less, even I understand you are insecure and scared about losing you position but that 1 wont happen 2 if you work with us you can get credit for adding something as pivitol and good to the game as classes

perks aren't that good. also there will probably be both cheap and expensive perks so its not like ppl will have an advantage of perks. also equally overpowered of everyone uses the same perk

not attacking you i am addressing where you are coming from and I'm saying that this is to help you and perks not to hurt you, you are lashing out from hurt which shouldn't exist and you are acting and commenting irrationally you trying yo kill jonas's vote power is proof of that.

also if you want to go fallacy you are using appeal to authority (Appeal to Authority (argumentum ad verecundiam) logical fallacy and Argument from Authority (argumentum ab auctoritate) are the same form of of discussion argument in which person producing a claim referencing the opinion of an authority as evidence to support an argument. As a fallacy it’s included onto Red Herring Fallacies group.) this logical faliccy dummyed down means because I said it it is true. however simply because you say people want perk does not mean people want perks just because you say people don't want stats doesn't mean they don't want stats, just because you say prestige is mid doesn't mean its mid.

from now on you have to prove everything you say with credible evidence

bread - doesn't want stat Tree but has actively contributed to the success of perks aaron - in this issue has stated he doesn't want stat Tree, refuses to add and/or code it. me - doesn't want stat Tree because it is literally just perks and prestige with some random spam thrown in dmg - idk where he is he keeps switching sides lostkign - wants stat Tree cuz its his spam and says its a good idea for "variation" when in reality it will just make the game unfair and more complicated with all the extra stats flat - wants skill tree for some reason and has given no further evidence to support the use of skill tree besides stuff Jonas came up with and has already been refuted.

perks can exist fine on its own. in fact it does, its just the perks themselves haven't been added yet due to balancing reasons. skill tree CANNOT exist on its own because no one wants plain stat upgrades. if it was implemented it would cause mass annoyance to everyone because everyone would shoot faster, move faster (which aaron says is pain to code and would also upset the balance of the game due to either too much speed or flatting), and straight up do more damage. This is bad because we already have a balance in the game currently where you can get more health and damage by leveling up. This system while simple is effective, fair, and simple. The reason I put simple twice is because its actually an upside, you get xp -> you level up. Makes perfect sense.

The reason this idea is still being thrown around is because both flat and Lost king are both adding other GOOD ideas to it to make it seem like it has a use. This was proven in the other 3 (now closed) issues where you all discussed skill tree and what you could add to it such as prestiging, perks, and whatnot.

And on the point of that fallacy you stated, I am appealing to authority, because while I am trying to convince you that this is a bad idea, I am ultimately trying to convince aaron because he should get the final say in his own game and he would be the one to code it anyways. However you quoted the fallacy wrong as well! The appealing to authority fallacy is practically ethos but referring to a person other than yourself. Such as "he agrees with me and he's the president" This fallacy uses the reputation of someone else to strengthen the argument but the way you stated it is incorrect because you stated that I was quoting myself. I, in no way, ever said that I was using my own reputation or power to strengthen my argument. This entire time I have stuck to the same principles and evidence to disprove the idea that skill tree is a good idea and should be implemented: it would unbalance the game; it would be complicated; its stealing from other good ideas that can exist independently; without those good ideas it falls flat with nothing to offer.

In conclusion, no skill tree bozo.

I just talked with Aaron at seminary and he does not oppose skill tree his only problem is the amount of coding and balancing

Coding is out of our control however balancing is exactly what Jonas dmg and I have been doing, you are welcome to help

Evan I want the real reason you oppose skills not the crap you have been saying of "nobody wants it" there is nobody but us who plays you cant use bandwagon if nobody but us play thr game I have more reason hut I have class rn
