Announcement: Game Goals / Plans for the future

So I've been working on making tanks for give or take 5 years and I've realized that we need to pick up the pace. I'm really the only programmer working on this. I only have a year and a half left to finish tanks. I'm not going to spend the rest of my life coding this game :P

Currently the development pace is snail speed so to speed it up I've been trying to come up with ways to resolve issues and generate ideas faster by using github projects and issues to keep track progress so we know what we need to do. This post will be the central area for keeping track of what we have left to finish. We have a limited amount of time so there will be a ton of cuts. Post comments on what you think I should work on finishing and what we should remove. I will edit this post with any new updates or changes and show the progress. Our goal is to get the game ready for public playing by July 4th 2024, then use my remaining time on this project to respond to community feedback.

Update Jan 11 2024: In a streamlined game development process, there are four phases. Brainstorming, Development, Bugfixing and optimizing. We, however, have been stuck bouncing back and forth over and over again. So I'm putting a cut off date for Brainstorming and development because the game is very much functional, we just need to have a final push to get over the lack of productivity. So in 13 days, ALL ideas will be finalized and any incomplete designs for items/class/etc. will just be removed. Come up with ideas for stuff now.

Also bruh, I leave for 1 day and you manage to both break the game and make like 20+ useless commits :( getting attention @BreadSpam @CelestialKnight7 @LostKing27 @DarkMemeGod411
