MadComponents + StageVideo example problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Copy and pasted and saved code from 
http://madskool.wordpress.com/2012/03/01/madcomponents-stagevideo-stagewebview-s
tagetext-extendedmadness-callouts/ in file MadVideo.as
2. In Flash CS6 , added following to action script
   import MadVideo;
    new MadVideo(this);

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
<PATH> MadVideo.as, Line 31 1086: Syntax error: expecting semicolon before id.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ExtendedMadnessLib0_2_0b.swc + Flash CS6

Please provide any additional information below.
I was trying to learn mad-components by goign through tutorials.I ran 
successfully MadHelloWorld.as example. But StageVideo exampel is giving me 
syntax error.
Belwo is the code where I get error but doesnt make sense ...

        protected static const LAYOUT:XML =

                <label id="label">Stage Video Demo</label>

                <button id="button">start</button>
            ;

Wordpress seems to have corrupted the XML I pasted in.  It should read:- 

<rows heights="20,100%,30">
                <label id="label" alignH="centre">Stage Video Demo</label>
                <image id="placeHolder"/>
                <button id="button" width="280" alignH="centre">start</button>
            </rows>;
