now that UH ITS CAS3 registered our apps (mopsa:8151 for test and kukuicup.manoa for prod), I switched both mopsa and prod server to use CAS3 urls. The CAS3 UI on iPhone looks good; while on Galaxy Note android it looks like the enlarge version of the old UI with the input field center, which is still better then old UI.
UH is upgrading to a new CAS v3 system. This will provide a mobile-friendly login page (yay!), but also requires applications to register before getting CAS access.
There is a CAS v3 test environment, so we should register dasha with it and try pointing the configuration at the new server to see if things work. ITS maintains a wiki page about CAS 3
One issue that is being discussed on the developer mailing list is whether there will be an application with hostname "localhost" registered as an app. Without that, local development would require changing your hostname and then registering that hostname as a CAS app. By the time we work on this, the issue will hopefully be resolved.
