This workflow is adding friction to the developer experience without adding anything substantially useful.

• It makes changes to the main branch that bring conflicts to other PRs.
• It reverts the formatting in CHANGELOG.md and package.json.
• It tries to mimic a feature that is already available on GitHub. GitHub can auto-generate release notes when you create a new release in the Releases tab. See: https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/releasing-projects-on-github/managing-releases-in-a-repository
