Save our Ship 2 Ship Battle crashes the game #762

Non-Vanilla Bug Report

Describe the bug

When you click start ship battle with dev tools on main console, game crashes instantly. It was not happening before RimThreaded, so i thought it could be some bug with RimThreaded.

Steps to reproduce the behavior (VERY IMPORTANT)

  1. Open game
  2. Select Derelict Ship scenario from SOS2
  3. Click Prepare Carefully mod, do nothing then start game.
  4. Open dev mode, go to your ship console and click DEV: START SHIP BATTLE
  5. Game freezes than crashes. Gives a Unity 2019.xxx error screen without log.

It gives no error log, game crashes instantly.

Uninstalled RimThreaded, problem fixed. You can produce the error with flipping, moving ship and starting battle via dev tools.

Increase thread timeout

Any suggestions for how long I should make the timeout period?

I wouldn't go for anything higher than 30 seconds if it takes longer than that. Something is then calling a resource and forcing unity to crash.

Re open if increasing the timeout didnt fix the issue
