md5 sum error #53

every install fails with a md5sum error.
Logfile attached.

$ bash -x /bin/apt-cyg install git > /cygdrive/c/debug.log 2>&1; echo $?
1

I ran into the same issue just yesterday.  The hash algorithm has changed in 
Cygwin's setup.ini, looks like they've upgraded from MD5 to SHA512.

Since Google Code is about to die off, I went ahead and made a fix in my fork:
 * https://github.com/digitallamb/apt-cyg

Give it a try and let me know if you have issues.

There is a pull requrest in the "official" (?) git repo: 
https://github.com/transcode-open/apt-cyg/pull/38
