Solution for starting without errors after installation #36

Hi, everybody

I have been trying to run this plugin for a long time after installing it on Nextcloud 26, but it constantly gave errors. The instructions from the author did not help in any way.

I solved this by what is needed in the settings: http://localhost:26/settings/admin/shifts (localhost:26 is your Web-Adress)

change the value in the "Name of the Analyst Group" field from "Analyst" to "analyst" (the first letter should be small instead of large).

I spent a long time on the solution, maybe it will help someone.

that was in version 1.8.6

I think the group-id is always lowercase. The value for "Name of the Analyst Group" must exactly match the corresponding group-id. I'll add an additional hint for that field in the future.

Hello

I have the issue that this addon does not work after installation.

I have this error in the admin panel for the shifts : Could not fetch Settings

Nextcloud 27 and latest shiftplan version

Hi @leorthur,

I looked into the code and there should be an error in your browser console and in the server log. Can you open a new issue with these errors?

Done juste did it with a fresh installation.

Do you want me do do another ticket on my current production install which does not display the administration part for shifts ?
