Interesting repeated element extraction.

Hierarchical segmentation (referenced tech) to avoid detection of texture boundaries. Trick: better to "blur" the image and not the template. Boundary Band Map (like gradient vector field in the near (band) of boundaries). Dense correspondence in the presence of small shape distortions between template and image.

TXT: "Limitations" subsection, emphasizes mistakes in Figures. Many useful small things.
