interesting, can you attach a midi file here in the reply so I can test. I haven't touched this for very long time, so it's unlikely it stopped working all by-itself. But you never know :)
These are 2 smaller (classical) midi files from the web, that play on my machine, but won't upload to the converter
Hi, I was quite happy when I found this, because I always wondered about the seamingly unacceptable task of creating the huge score for a tune like "oblivion.csd" (given as example file in the csound android app).
I think on 2022-03-04 I tried "https://csound.com/midi2sco/" with a rather big midi file from the web (a big band arrangement of the Weather Report song Birdland), and the conversion worked, generally spoken. The outcome was quite interesting though, sounded like my first "avantgarde concierto" rather than like the original midi file.
Today I tried with several smaller midi files, from the web or produced by Lilypond, and it stopped working alltogether - no upload, no conversion, only the message "score is empty, please upload midi file" (both in Chrome and Edge browsers).
If this does not really work, are there alternatives to create csound scores from midi files? Is e.g. that oblivion.csd score really written by hand, and not created programmatically in some way?
