We need to determine whether or not this is a priority independent of the redesign of all printable forms that needs to take place --> #21
Per conversation with @jessicamorris64 & @Deanna1968 last week, getting PDFs should be considered an independent priority.
PDF generation to be worked on in conjunction with #21 by @cssatmcfunk
This issue was resurfaced on 10/10/23 at the Weekly Sprout Call (see New issue raised by Caitlin: "Documents are downloaded in a locked document such as a PDF instead of editable Word document"). More discussion needed since PDF's are technically editable too/not locked (though not as easily as a Word doc); are additional options/different approaches needed? I added DCYF List tag.
Due to Security and potential litigation issues, We need to have all documents that are downloadable and or printable in PDF format so they can not be edited. edits to these documents put DCYF in a vulnerable security state. ask Jessy and Deanna for additional requirements questions.
