exif.ts "Property 'status' does not exist on type 'XMLHttpRequestEventTarget'. " #104

i am getting the following error. I am using Angular 2.1.2 and Version 0.7.1 of image cropper.

.../node_modules/ng2-img-cropper/src/exif.ts:317:22 Property 'status' does not exist on type 'XMLHttpRequestEventTarget'.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

Updated to 0.7.5 but the problem persists. Any help would be highly appreciated.

I can confirm that I'm experiencing the same issue using v0.7.5.
