Was the original mass just what they self-reported? In that case it's not reliable and I would prefer to report just the measured mass. That is, if we trust the force plate.
Three subjects don't have a measured mass. If you don't have a standing trial, body weight is equal to the mean of total vertical GRF during walking. You would have to use unperturbed walking and use full gait cycles.
I can't compute mass for subjects 4 and 11 because it had the wooden pine blocks, so I can only give self reported mass for them. But subject 1 I can do this computation you mention.
OK, and let's keep the self reported mass in the table then, for sure. The protocol describes already how we obtained it. Maybe for completeness also put "self-reported" in the column heading or caption of Table 1.
I have a script that generates the actual mass from the calibration pose data. This should be presented instead of the self reported mass.
