I have a "No Neutral" 2 gang touch light switch. The markings on the board say WIFI-W6B and i can see a ESP8285 on board.

I can't get this to flash using tuya convert. The switch seems to connect to the AP and then immediatley comes out of pairing mode. Tuya convert just says

SmartConfig complete. Resending SmartConfig Packets

over and over and then fails with

Device did not appear with the intermediate firmware Check the *.log files in the scripts folder Do you want to try flashing another device? [y/N] n

I have used the same setup to successfully flash smart plugs - so know my installation and method works - is there anything that would stop this switch from accepting tuya convert?

I finally flashed ESPHome on my last WR3 boards with ltchiptool using the process described here. Keep in mind you have to use port UART2 for flashing. Now I have only two water sensors with BK7231N - CBU board. They are using 2xAAA batteries and I have to wait until sleep mode is properly added to them.

I updated my findings here with the connections on the 4 gang switch.

I tried to couple the 3 Gang WIFI-W6B with a Sonoff RM433 Remote without success. I do the following:

Is this process correct?

I think the RM433 does more complex things than the 3 Gang expects and is simply not compatible... Is this correct?

For my two gang I press and hold until it beeps (some have a buzzer) or blinks (can't remember how many times) release the button then press the remote button the led on the switch either blinks or the thing beeps and then the remote button works. If you have a rf433 sniffer you can see what the remote is doing. Or if you solder a wire from the 433 chip to the esp on the switch and load the right tasmota it will turn into a rf433 sniffer.

As a note though almost all the switches I bought from aliexpress have crapped out. They either randomly turn on and off or the stop responding to touch until they are unpowered and repowered.
