Since the specification will be owned by the W3C Media Working Group I recommend providing them CTA WAVE feedback and let that group decide if there should be a separate CMAF Byte Stream Recommendation or just an update to the existing Recommendation.

This is ok, but we should finalize a draft first in CTA WAVE.

(2020/05/05): John suggests to have a call with W3C on this matter. Add this to the next TWG meeting and setup a call in like 4-6 weeks. Finalize the document in Adhoc group before.
