As long as it does not contradict the above and CMAF: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/http_live_streaming/hls_authoring_specification_for_apple_devices

Default settings for FFMPEG are obviously also relevant.

Please document all sources for the choices in the scripts or in a README

Call 2020/07/27: We need to figure out exact CMAF parameters.

Close. HEVC is deferred to a future release. AVC is being checked. If an issue with AVC arises we can reopen.
