@kevleyski - a common slide resource is a great idea. It saves us from re-creating duplicate content and it helps deliver a consistent message. In terms of where to store, we actually have a document repository at https://standards.cta.tech/apps/org/workgroup/cmsd/documents.php as part of our CTA workspace. I'd suggest storing a PPT file there. I made a new folder called 'promotional slides' as a guide. I think Creative Commons Attribution-Share-Alike https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ license would be best.
Hi I’m in the process of writing a deck to intro with a few deep dive topics around CMSD to present at casual Video meetups (in my case this is primarily content I'm preparing for syd\<video> meet-up next week!)
Is maybe Google Slides or GitHub Wiki a good place to host such group source materials?
The purpose of raising a formal issue for discussion in the group is to make sure the rules are clear and make sure people don’t feel left out, toes trodden on - so it's clear anyone here can equally contribute back via PR, take down with history preserved and known it's ok to fork and use the presentation as their own if they agree to cite and acknowledge the CTA WAVE and the Creative Commons style to this source material and importantly copy left updates back to the original
