This is attractive to engineers in large organisations as Docker Desktop is a commercial product that would have to be purchased and installing Linux may require special permission or approval.
This document is 3 years old and probably needs a review to check it if there are things that are out of date.
For testing a TV, mobile or other media consumption device, the test runner in docker needs to be accessible from the local network. This seems to require setting up port forwarding on windows and potentially opening ports on Windows firewall.
Some of the material on running the tests appears to duplicate what is in the deploy README.md (previously QUICK_START.md). That should perhaps be removed and a link back to that document added.
I have put this as Release V2 rather than Blocker because we can strongly discourage it but it is an obstacle for engineers in large organisations.
