Fixed for .net core SDK 2.1.300 based on https://github.com/dotnet/sdk/issues/1458#issuecomment-388510350

@kukjevov Don't you want to leave the original target for SDK 2.0 users? Does it work if you have both?

In the meantime, here is a workaround that will work with all SDK versions up to and including 2.1.300:
