Student union card now requires a password #1

Do you (current digIT I suppose) think it unreasonable to allow users to enter their password to the site as well? It's not like we're not transparent about the user having to provide it, and if I remember correctly, we don't need to store the password other than on the user's computer.

I'm not well versed in GDPR, so not sure if there is anything there that would prevent it.

The only real issue I can see is if people don't feel comfortable entering their password, but that's their loss. (And, to be fair, we do need it in plaintext to be able to enter it to the site)
