6.1 Changes to Adopted OMG Specifications: The statement that this RFC adds a new JSON compliance point to CTS2 begs the question: will the conformance clause of CTS2 spec be modified after this RFC is finalized? The need for 6.1 seems unnecessary since clause 7.1 addresses it directly.

Yes, the conformance clause of CTS2 spec will be modified. Section 6.1 is has been removed. This is in fact addressed in section 7.1.
