RE: icon property of a link:
Do you think I should include an example of the old way of setting icons? I decided not to since modern REDCap versions (since 9.1.1 when framework v3 was introduced, I think) use Font Awesome icons in the sidebar, but I'm second-guessing in case some devs are stuck with older versions (worst case is they try to use the Font Awesome classes and the icons just don't appear).

@ChemiKyle, I think you are doing the right thing pushing Framework V3 and Font Awesome. We should teach the good habits. The devs will discover the old methods when they steal old module could. If we teach them right they will replace the old methods with the new methods
