Content archive plan:

• add to this repository the field note content currently housed in AWS S3 bucket, fieldnotes.makingandknowing.org
• ideally, we would include all files from this bucket. However, the bucket is much too large (~6GB) and is throttled by github.
  • The majority of this content is binary files (e.g., png, pdf, docx, etc.) that is linked or referenced in the html files
  • Thus, only html files will be deposited

Release roadmap:

• v1.0.0 mainSpace/
• v1.1.0 mainSpace/ + pre-2018-Fall/ and 2018-Fall/
• v1.2.0 mainSpace/ + pre-2018-Fall/ and 2018-Fall/ + table_of_content.html --> i.e., http://fieldnotes.makingandknowing.org/ website
  • in S3, set up CloudFront for http://fieldnotes.makingandknowing.org/ so that the site is not just generated from the current `table_of_content.html' files, as it does now
  • As of now, Bluehost points http://fieldnotes.makingandknowing.org/ directly to fieldnotes.makingandknowing.org.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com
    • [x] certificate requested (2021-06-15) in CloudFront/Certificate Manager
    • [x] new CNAME created in Bluehost for fieldnotes distribution info (2021-06-15)
    • [x] create CloudFront distribution after certificate is issued (in AWS)
    • [x] point fieldnotes.makingandknowing.org to CloudFront distribution (in Bluehost)
      • v2.0.0 first iteration of browsable field notes website -- changes to S3 from here forward (to be detailed soon)
  • reorganized mainSpace/ with addition of index files to make directories under mainSpace/ browsable, but everything else the same
• v2.1.0 adding reorganized and "indexed" pre-2018-Fall/
• v2.2.0 adding reorganized and "indexed" 2018-Fall/
