dedicated campaign for recording ink smudges, blots, stains #140

To be undertaken in spring 2020 (??) - see good example on 151v of a large horizontal smudge.

These important indices of the material life of the manuscript, and thus far have not been consistently logged.

Some have been indicated with editorial comments, but not all have been kept (see archival versions of DCE_comment-tracking). Guiding principle for keeping these editorial comments for release 1:

Stains, smudges, blots, ink Noted when significantly interacting with text E.g., obscuring a word, word still legible, etc.
