My opinion: the PDFs should remain PDFs and be saved to the sandbox and hosted from there. Clicking on a link and it opening a PDF document in the browser is very common I think. The Word documents should be converted to PDFs. Anything else (e.g. website, plain text document, Markdown) should be hosted as either Markdown or HTML from the sandbox.

Three of the projects have been added:

  1. Ontologies of Ms. Fr. 640 by Celine Camps
  2. “A View Inside a Messy Workshop”: Unraveling the Possibilities of Textual Analysis with Optical Character Recognition by Katherine Bergen
  3. Material Qualities of the Page: A New Interface for the Digital Critical Edition by Sandra Goldstein Lehnert, Laura Elizabeth Hand, and Greg Alton Houser

As noted above, the others have further problems that need work

AR group should be included here and link out to the work in #20

3. Need to incorporate into the pdf summary: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ldLWKG4dr4CI_0KtmC3zo83-DDSD0NSd?usp=sharing (video of mockup or static images in a pdf of the mockup)

Is there a permanent place for the video? Do we prefer the video or the demo PDF? Should we modify the summary PDF to include the video/demo or just link it alongside the summary?

3. See also #26 about python code)

Wrote my response in #26.
