See initial extraction of "like" keywords in context https://gist.github.com/njr2128/fcb26ac6541a8f2524b6217ac30ab3df 16 out of 385 instance (~4%) are not comparative (e.g., "as you like") which suggests it is one of the most frequently occurring words in the manuscript and the majority of them are used as comparative words. Hence, "like" as comparative is still one of the most frequently occurring phrases in the manuscript

looking over the "as" spreadsheet:

lots of repetition of certain phrases, such as:
- "as much as one as of the other"
- "as [thick, long, etc] as"
correlation with <ms>

Other general thoughts looking over all spreadsheets

negative comparisons, e.g., "NOT like [something]," "unlike" (which does not appear in the ms), "dissimilar" (also does not appear)
- On 8v, It is not polished with <tl><m>tripoli</m></tl> <del>but</del> like the
while we may be interested in the A-P's language use, we need to realize that all of these generated tables are using whatever words we can think of that might be used in comparative phrases

use of "too" (took a quick look at this and seems a little too complicated/varied for current scope)
use of "also" (took a quick look at this and seems a little too complicated/varied for current scope)
use of "more" / "less"
use of comparative adjectives (e.g., "smaller," "larger") and superlatives (e.g., "best")
- --> techniques for NLP
--> text mining techniques that could discover comparisons?
