Mission Planner reports NO GPS while secondary GPS is up and reporting. #969

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempting to test run a Pixhawk with only one (working) GPS, the secondary,
connected to the serial 4 port.
2. No primary GPS connected to the Pixhawk GPS port.
3. Connecting Mission Planner to Pixhawk on USB.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Benchtest: Expect to see a normal GPS reporting on PFD display and in status
tab GPS data. Possibly also a cauction notification about "only secondary GPS".
The MP PFD reports NO GPS and in status tab there is no signs of updated GPS
data, except GPS time. Still it seems like MP is presenting the plane map
position as reported from the secondary GPS:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MP 1.3.1, Win 8.1 64
Pixhawk, firmware 3.0.2
Secondary GPS uBlox LEA6 v1.1
GPS type parameter for both GPS: AUTO

Please provide any additional information below.
In CLI mode / TEST / GPS, the secondary GPS is reporting values OK.
Though it would be nice to be able to distinguish values from a primary and
secondary GPS (and maybe it is actually possible, I just tested with secondary
GPS only connected...)
