Use the script for other Linux distribution? #4

I am wondering whether the same script can be used for other Linux 
distributions, like xubuntu or fedora.

If possible, may be there will be a wiki page describing all changes you have 
made on the Ubuntu image made, so that anyone interested can port these changes 
to other distributions.

I would be VERY interested in the wiki page also since I'm contemplating 
installing another flavor of linux on my Cr-48.
