Fields for entering artifact details

• Repository city [e.g., New York, New York; Columbus, Ohio; London, England]
• Repository name [e.g., Ohio State Archives, Columbia University Library]
• Shelfmark/ID of individual artifact [e.g., MS 107, Box 1, doc. 340]
• Artifact type [correspondence, legal document, photograph—we will create a list for users to draw from to ensure consistency]
• Single Date [or] Date Range [single date is preferred, but date range may be necessary.]
• Sender/Issuer, personal or corporate name [this will work for letters, business docs, bills/receipts]
• Recipient name [personal name]
• Other relevant personal names [people mentioned or implied within the text]
• Other relevant physical locations: city+state [places mentioned in the document or related to the contents of the artifact]
• Link(s), if applicable: URL to item, repository, poem/literary work references in the artifact, etc.
• Related materials/notes: [text field-this might have details on other scholarship,]
• Physical description of artifact
• Transcription [to come later]
• Creator notes [notes for the person entering the data to share with other project users.]
