What about ifdown eth0
then ifup eth0
?
Hi,
I'm sorry. I have neglected the cubieboard-project since I have not found a solution.

Can anyone help me? Do you have any idea? Is this Cubieboard defective?
Are you sure your router is enabled DHCP services? or you can try static ip.
I have the same issue/similar issue for a second interface that I'm trying to wire up. I don't have any issues with eth0
, so I know the router is working.
For reference: My network interface goes regularly (intended) up and down and this is what I see in /var/log/messages:

Hi,
i have a cubieboard 1 with the sd-card image: Cubian-base-r5-arm-a10 from (http://cubian.org/downloads/)
Every time i boot, i see the message: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
Linux Cubian 3.4.43+ #14 PPEMPT ... armv71 GNU/Linux
The networkadapter and thus the internet is not working.
What can i do? Which information are needed?
