A20 nandinstall on X1 IS NOT FUNCTIONAL! #475

So there's the source data: I have both A10 and A20. I installed X1-nano-headless on both. No any issues with A10. This is really great distro. No ANY way to succeed nandinstall on A20! Even after Livesuit Lubuntu nand. It failed always. BUT! I set up R4 (old cubian release) and it works on A20!!! What the problem to fix it? I really need headless version in nand!

PS: Origin of problems not nandinstall but I suspect it's X1 kernel, blocking access to nand. PS2: I know it's dupe issue but it must have highest possible priority, how much years must spend the fixing?

So A20 nand driver cought some bugs on the way from R5 (working version) to X1 (already non-working). Any possibilities to use R5 nand driver in X1?

Look like this is problem commit dated 10 Jan 2014: https://github.com/mmplayer/linux-sunxi/tree/dev/sunxi-3.4/drivers/block/sunxi_nand We just need try to rebuild WITHOUT it.

Yes, quite annoying that there's no solving for this.
