What are the differences in performance between PuLID, FaceID, and InstantID #5

I'll talk about that in a future video. They are all pretty close, InstantID is the heaviest but probably also the most flexible. PuLID is overall a good performer

I would kindly add, that is an understatement, and I would be nice about it. would it not be that the original pulid authors directly attack Instandid in their paper (look at their example figures, that is borderline lying, this paper belongs in the trash).

Don't get me wrong, I respect that you brought it to comfy tho so we could check it for ourselves and we do not need to take any ones word for it. and it might even serve some purpose for someone, who knows.

but why they write papers like that is beyond me.

I don't feel that they attach instantid so badly, but I think that their whole testing methodology is flawed. They talk about a 120-IDs sample. I made tests with thousands and ultimately all these face models are very close together. Some are better at specific tasks than others, but the likeliness of the top performers is more or less the same.
