advantage and disadvantage of using public cuckoo sandbox? #2921

Is there any difference from using the public cuckoo provided at: https://cuckoo.cert.ee/ As opposed to setting up your own instance? should i go through the whole process of setting up my own cuckoo instance or is the public instance more than enough?

Thanks for posting an issue.

Cuckoo.cert.ee has enabled a lot of plugins, which might be some work to configure yourself. They don't expose the Cuckoo web API, however, meaning you can't use that.

It really depends on how you use/want to use Cuckoo. I'd day that if you only run a few manual analyses a week, the cuckoo.cert.ee instance would suffice.
