Popup Notification While Texting #327

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open up existing conversation
2. Start typing
3. Get notification from that person while trying to type to them

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Im going to see the text anyway, having SMS Popup pop up while trying to text 
that person is just aggrivating

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.2.1 on Android ICS

Please provide any additional information below.

The system doesn't have a clear way to detect which app is in focus so this 
isn't 100% possible. Right now I look for the most recently opened app and if I 
see its messaging then it suppresses the popup, that's the best that's possible.
