What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Receive a bunch of MMS messages
2. Occasionally, during the receipt of MMS messages, instead of the popup box
immediately showing- first, there will be a "loading" screen which dims the
entire screen and shows a spinning graphic
3. Click on the screen anywhere at this time.
4. A lengthy context menu pops up which includes the option to "delete"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No context menu should load at this time.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version of sms popup on Honeycomb. Motorola Bionic.
Note:
This is of greater severity than it would seem on the surface because if a user
is vigorously typing away in an email or another text or whatever, and this
popup loading screen shows with the receipt of an MMS, the user can
accidentally and inadvertantly delete the incoming text message before even
realizing a text message was incoming. I have done it numerous times. Thanks.
