hi, I was curious about your repository, any chance that you work with faichaid motion SPM module? actually I have plan to use the Arduino to control the AC motors , any comments really appreciated BR

Hi mkeyno.

This project is on hold for now. My intention is to control AC motors with it... What would you like to know? having those guys on you project just save you from a lot of headache...

thanks @cukier actually this idea came form my project with ESP8266 to control home devices wireleesly , first start searching on arduino forum about how to control ac induction motor and find following site http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=231006.0 http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=270741.0 but after bit dinging around, find the topic not mature for such project , then starting to search in technical forum and find faidchid offer best solution and introduce power motion SPM-3 along with FCM8201 controller , although I find more combination of control IC such as MC3PHAC and RAMS06UP60A but it seems faidchid have advantage among them , also I find two following excellent article about this module. however I cant find any free schematic or PCB for evaluation and test but fairchaid has good repository article for anybody whom interested to design his own PCB, which is out of my knowledge base, I believe with this PCB can do very lot of Arduino fun or even connect to ESP8266 to control and monitor high power motor wirelessly

thanks @cukier , actually I was aware about the BLDC and years ago look for such project to build +100A ESC for my RC drone , although 3 phase ac induction motor can follow such principal but I'm looking the open hardware that use the new excellent all-in-one power management such FSBB30CH60B , please check the following link , some German guys build such board but I cant find its resource, regards to Fairchild rich repository design documents it wont be hard to make prototype , but as I'm not electrical engineer , I've start looking in forums to find such topic or cool fellows who made that. any way what is your motivation to use such FCM8201 chip? I thought you were used it for such project

Hi @mkeyno that`s real cool, great design... I want to use the FCM8201 with SPK15N60 IGBT to construct a three phase frequency inverter and control a serious of ACM's. As i said, this project is on hold. If you want a have a unfinished schematics of the project but i don't advise you to use it. I'm sorry for the delay again, i was away on a event called Agrishow....
