As a Product Owner, I'd like to have a homepage which includes information on my product and a couple of places with buttons (like a 'Start the tour' and/or 'Start a free trial') so that anyone who lands on the front page has the information they need.

Acceptance Criteria

• [x] All text on the homepage is editable via the CMS (open question on whether the navigation and footer also need to be editable)
• [x] 'Start the Tour' button and 'Start a free trial' button text is also editable if possible
• [x] Homepage matches the designs

Not editable:

• the 'Quodl' left part of the nav including the logo image

Editable:

• So far the navigation is editable
• The copy in the buttons 'Start The Tour' and 'More like this please' are also editable but the links are hard coded. Could look into making the links editable if this was a priority...

Editable logo image

I looked into an editable logo image but I don't think it's a good idea as it's easy to delete it and I don't think it will be edited often. When it is edited I think it could be a bit fiddly to get the sizing/positioning right. Also, so far when I added it in this way you had to add the photo by hand on each page where it was featured which is a clunky process.

Editable button links

So far you can edit the content of the buttons but not where the link goes to. You can create links in rich text and so you could then specify where the link is going to as well, I have not however experimented yet with whether you can override the default styling of the link in that situation which may prove more difficult.
