Allow guests to use the Access options links for all visable records. Right now guests might be prompted to login to the OneSearch interface to use an Open Access link if the resource record is from a specific source (like ScienceDirect.) Example 5469666 - "ER 2812634 | Guest Access Users not able to use New EDS UI's Unpaywall integration links"
Allow guests to send another guest the details page of a cataloged book. This is used when guests find a book they like and want to share it with a friend. The Support Team created case 5114859 and attached it to Enhancement Request 2029814. Email: Authentication required to view cataloged items details page?
Allow guests to send another guest the url of search page results without the url requiring authentication to access. Also allow guests to see article details page (if metadata provider allows). SI 2506696
Allow users be able to save/export/cite/share all resources without having to login. We would like to have guests be able to save/export as they might not be affiliated with CU Boulder but want to print out a list of books from our catalog to come in and view. We also do not want to force users off-campus to have to login to use this feature.
Allow guests to select a limiter for open access articles or see open access links that they could then use for their research. This is used when showing non-CU users (like high school students) how to use the search. It also allows for faculty who prefer to use oa articles for class or a project to easily find those articles.
When off campus, if a user clicks on CU Full Text on the 15th result, the interface will have them sign in, take them back to the top, and then the user has to click the article link again. The user should get full access to both the interface and the article once they click the link.EBSCO Support Case #5293336 SI 1380925
