Determine if EBSCO MARC records are needed for serials and ebooks that currently receive 360 MARC updates #85

We currently purchase MARC records from 360/Proquest for serials and some ebook packages that do not get MARC records from OCLC or direct from the publisher. 360 MARC records' primary purpose is for discovery within Chinook Classic. With the move to a single EDS discovery interface, we need to determine if this type of MARC record will be needed in the future. Discovery for these titles will occur through activation in the FOLIO eHoldings app. In the past, order records were sometimes attached to this type of record, but will this pracitce continue in FOLIO? Are there other considerations for needing the EBSCO equivalent of the 360 MARC records?

EBSCO MARC has been purchased and we will transition from 360 MARC to EBSCO MARC being loaded into Sierra in July 2022. Need to decide if this is only needed for the transition year until FOLIO is fully live, or if there is an ongoing need after that.
